This morning I realised I had never posted a photo of this finished plein-air painting,
I did late last summer, which was the very beginnings of my "plein-air 'Trek'" adventures.
Here is the original plein-air 'trek' blog post from last last summer.
My not having a car is very difficult on so many levels.
Reason being is, I simply can't afford one at the present time.
I try to do my best with what I have ....
I started using my bike last year as a mode of transportation
to potential and local plein-air painting sites.
This cute house with its wild flower yard is located just about a mile from my studio.
Discovered this gem of a place while out for one of my morning walks a few years ago ...
And simply fell in love with the house emerging through the shrubs and wild flowers!
It took a long time to acquire the home owners permission to paint on their property,
simply because they just weren't home a lot of the time.
In the meantime I planned and prepared how I was going to transport
all of my plein-air gear to the location ...
Finally! One morning ... they were home and granted me permission!
Within a few days ... I was happily rode my bike to their house
and spent to morning painting their cute homestead and their lovely wild flowers!
On site Day #1.
The light shifted, so it was time to go home for lunch.
On site: Day #2.
Please stay tuned for more plein-air painting adventures from the studio!
Cheers, ~ Polly ~
